Throughout the year, a lot of events are hosted in Enschede that are known in Twente and even outside there!
Every year, over 60 events are organised in Enschede. This varies from big events in the city centre to festival, like Freshtival and Onder de Radar. Take a look below to see what you can all experience in Enschede.

Parties
In summer, Grolsch Summer Sounds takes place: beautiful Thursday summer nights filled with music, shows and loads of fun. At the start of each new academic year, there is a free concert for all new students in Enschede: the Introductieconcert. This introduction concert takes place on the second Wednesday of the Kick-In Introduction and the first Wednesday of the HOI Introduction week. Together with thousands of other students, you will start off the year with a big party! There are also a lot of parties in Metropool, like De Ontgroening of Fiesta Macumba.

Festivals
Throughout the year, there are a variety of festivals in Enschede. Around Pentecost (usually in May), you can go to the biggest festival in the Eastern of the Netherlands: Freshtival. At Vliegveld Twenthe, you can find festivals like Onder de Radar and VRIJ Festival. Every year at University of Twente, you can visit Hardfest, Bevrijdingsfestival and De Reactie. Next to all this is GOGBOT, the biggest multimedia art festival in the Netherlands. This festival takes place in the city centre of Enschede. You can visit food festivals as well, like Stoer Voer and Proef Eet, where you can try the most tasteful dishes. Or what do you think about visiting In Het Volkspark or Tuckerville?
