At the first day of quarantine, it was clear for Annabel Jeuring that difficult times would come. Therefore, she decided to take her camera onto the streets to create images of what happened during lockdown.
It started with just a small number of portraits. The media noticed them and a lot of requests for more portraits followed. The exposition "the Netherlands in quarantine" shows touching portraits of Dutch residents "locked" behind their window.
You can visit the exposition all summer behind twenty big windows in the city centre of Enschede. The other 65 pictures you can discover at Boekhandel Broekhuis until the 20th of July. The pictures are collected in the book: "Nederland in quarantaine".
