During KunstenLandschap, you walk or take your bike to look at beautiful art works. It is a surprising route that you can follow by bike or by walking. This way, you also come across unknown places in the landscape.

KunstenLandschap 2023

The route is open on Saturday 27th of May from 12 until 5 o'clock and on Sunday (28th) and Monday (29th) from 11 until 5 o'clock.

It is a wonderful route with lovely works of artists from local people here in Enschede, but also throughout the Netherlands, Germany and other countries.

The route consists of two parts:

1. from Roombeek to Lonneker (about 3.5 kilometres);
2. the route in the landscape around the village of Lonneker (about 7,5 kilometer).

There are two starting locations:

1. Rijksmuseum Twenthe;
2. Dorpsplein in Lonneker.

If you show your entrance ticket, you also get free entrance to the Museumfabriek and Rijksmuseum Twenthe, as long as the route is opened. The inner square of the museum also plays an important role in the route. During the KunstenLandschap event, there is a museum store opened for visitors. Here, you can buy various works of the exhibition artists.
